Cochon 555, Eater, and Hipstamatic™ have joined forces to launch a photo contest where you compete against Scholium Project winemaker and boastful
photographer Abe Schoener. Participants will try to dethrone Abe by taking
better pictures than his at Cochon 555 events across the country. Entries can be submitted via two methods using the Hipstamatic™ application or
at http://eater.com/cochon555/.

Following the 10-city US TOUR, a panel of industry professionals curated by Cochon, Hipstamatic™ and Eater will select their favorite {5} Finalists images from the Hipstamatic community. Additionally, our panel will select another ⁵ Finalists from those entries directly posted on http://eater.com/cochon555. The ¹⁰ Finalists will be posted on http://eater.com/cochon555 and then the national community will have 3 weeks to vote on their favorites. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced in Las Vegas during All-Star Cochon on July 28th and will receive an all-expenses Official Judge’s Seat in at the inaugural Cochon Heritage BBQ in Memphis on Labor Day (3 days of bourbon, BBQ and music) + a case of Abe’s reserve wine.

The 5 finalists from the Hipstamatic™ community will all receive a culinary “HeritagePak” from Cochon Founder, Brady Lowe.

All entries, to be considered for the Grand Prize, must be original works created by the user and uploaded to http://www.eater.com/cochon555 by June 21st. On June 1st, the panel will select ⁵ five images from the Hipstamatic™ community to win ⁵ “HeritagePak” prizes, and those ⁵ “Awarded” entries will advance to the Eater landing page on July 1st, 2012 to qualify for the Grand Prize hosted by Cochon 555. On July 1st, ⁵ Hipstamatic™ “Awarded” will join ⁵ selected Finalists from the Eater Community, and those ¹⁰ Grand Prize Finalist entries will be posted at http://www.eater.com/cochon555 and the national community will have ³ weeks to vote for their favorite photo. The GRAND PRIZE winner will be notified by email August 1st and announced on http://www.eater.com/cochon555.
